The methods of treatment

Diagnosis

TCM has developed a diverse diagnostic procedure over thousands of years. The two cornerstones of diagnosis are tongue and pulse diagnosis:

By closely observing the shape, color and quality of the tongue, as well as feeling the 28 different pulse qualities, the therapist or physician can infer the internal workings of the body.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture influences body functions in a targeted manner via specific points on the surface of the body. The insertion of needles to varying depths at the more than 360 acupuncture points balances qi circulation and regulates specific organ systems.

Ear Acupuncture Treatment

Ear acupuncture offers immediate improvement in painful conditions and is therefore particularly suitable for the treatment of acute symptoms.

Tui-Na Massage

The massage therapy in TCM is called Tuina. Tui means pushing, na is translated as grasping. It is often used in combination with acupuncture or cupping, especially for musculoskeletal complaints. With special techniques and manipulations, muscles are worked, acupuncture points are massaged and pathways are opened to alleviate the complaints.

Cupping

Cupping glasses are placed on the skin to increase blood circulation in the connective tissue and muscles, which loosens and relaxes them. It also stimulates the immune system and, depending on the area treated, internal organ systems.

Heat therapy

Through the application of burning mugwort (Artemisia Vulgaris), reaction zones of the body are warmed up and thus the body's own self-healing powers are activated.
