Kinesiotape

Kinesiotape is a neuromuscular bandage that uses an adhesive elastic tape to give mechanical and sensory stimulation from the part of the body where it is applied to the central nervous system.
The glue in this "patch" does not continene medication, but is on the tape arranged to form small circles; these, through bodily movement, expand and shrink, causing the skin underneath to move and send stimuli deeper.
This stimulation has several purposes such as: analgesic action, reduction of edema and inflammation due to its action on blood and lymphatic circulation, provides sensory stimuli to inhibit muscles, thus to relax a muscle, to reduce a contracture, or to excite a muscle, thus to maintain tone-trophism, avoiding hypotonic. It also improves the function of a joint by stimulating proprioceptors.
There are different application techniques depending on the effect one wants to achieve, which is why it is necessary to take a specific course to train a therapist in the use of this technique.

Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a very effective form of treatment in the management of myofascial pain syndrome caused by particular muscle dysfunctions, trigger points, that cause local and referred pain.
The technique involves the insertion of thin acupuncture needles, without any medication (dry needling), into the muscles to be treated.
The skin is first disinfected, then the sterile, disposable needle is inserted between the skin and the muscle, directly into the painful point, triggering a local neuromuscular response.
After a dry needling treatment, the area of the muscle that has been treated feels much softer and relaxed.

Keope

Keope is an ergonomic proprioceptive resonance structure, which, with the body in complete functional scario, leads to correct posture and a dimension of total relaxation with obvious benefits within minutes. It improves your respiratory, cardiac and vascular systems and eliminates any fixed discomfort related to the musculoskeletal system.
Complete functional unloading means that the body is in the condition where every muscle is placed in a state of rest and most joints are decoaptured, allowing for greater oxygenation and ligament relaxation.
Keope is perfectly adaptable to the body thanks to accurate supports, the position of which is adjustable.
This structure works using 3 principles: mechanical modulation, mechanical vibration and sound waves.
With mechanical modulation, Keope overcomes obstacles posed by rational barriers through proprioceptive channels, resonating with vital functions. It acts through the stimulation of skin mechanoreceptors on multiple points of the muscle chains. In this condition the modulation, of modest amplitude and targeted frequency, acts precisely at the intended points.
The vibrating component is managed by a multi-program software that sets the exact frequency according to the proprioceptive system to be resonated.
Sound waves are produced by a voice and sound modulations that synchronize each proprioceptive sensor to the treatment, conditioning the exteroceptive tissue.
The voice ignites the imagination, which is a strong support for the dynamics of the emotional state.
Sounds and voice contribute greatly to the process of stimulation of skin mechanoreceptors, so they are the indispensable support for the outcome of multifocal mechanical modulation.
All of this synergistically activates the esteroception, 'imagereception and interoception, making Mind-Body Therapy a unique event.
