Massages have been used for many centuries to treat a wide variety of ailments. A massage is medical when it is applied with a clearly defined therapeutic goal. This goal can include the relief of acute or chronic complaints, or serve preventive purposes. Every therapeutic massage tries to correct the imbalance of the body that has led to the ailment, or to prevent imbalances. For this reason, at the beginning of every medical treatment there is a detailed diagnosis. This takes 90 minutes, including the initial treatment. The findings are used to get to know each other, to exchange information and to ensure optimal planning of treatments. A treatment protocol is kept continuously at each new appointment, which documents the improvements and shows the effectiveness of the treatment. A massage has multiple effects on the whole organism.
