Manual Lymphatic Drainage, is not a massage, but a manual therapeutic technique of emptying and routing fluid accumulations in the interstices of tissues that can build up due to inflammation, trauma, circulatory, kidney and heart disease, poor posture (such as standing too much or sitting too much). Edema, or fluid accumulation, can occur in any part of the body, such as legs, arms, face.

Here are some examples of imbalances or true pathologies that benefit from lymphatic drainage treatment:
