Tuina massage is related to acupuncture. The energy nodes used in acupuncture are tapped, vibrated or shaken with the hands. These impulses strengthen blood circulation and energy flow, because besides muscles, connective tissue and joints, the energy pathways, the meridians, are reactivated. Cupping - heat as a way to well-being

Cupping, an alternative of or supplement to acupuncture - promotes the flow of Qi, the flow of life force. The method used is very simple: the air in a cupping ball - which is a small round open glass - is briefly heated. Then your doctor places the heated cupping ball on specific body points. When the cupping ball cools down, a negative pressure is created, which slightly "pulls" the skin inside the ball. Local congestion of Qi - and this also applies to the blood flow - is thus released and the self-healing powers are strengthened. This ultimately leads to better defenses.

Moxibustion - Healing Scent

Traditional Chinese Medicine recommends moxibustion for patients with a cold or stagnant heat condition. This involves lighting a moxa stick made from medicinal herbs. Then the stick is attached to an acupuncture needle or held by hand near the meridian point. Special heat lamps are also used instead of moxa sticks. As a patient, you will experience a pleasant sensation of warmth that goes under the skin. Either way, cold is dispelled and the warming of the meridians leads to an improved flow of blood and Qi. Moxibustion has a good chance of success in correcting breech presentation of the baby in the womb.

Ear acupuncture - The whole body listens to it

Even in the West it is now known that our ears are closely interwoven with the whole body via the nerve pathways and the brain. It is a fact that there are up to 200 acupuncture points on the outer ear - and each needle placed here triggers electrical impulses that reach the relevant area of the human body in a flash, for example the knee, hip or shoulder, liver, heart, kidneys and so on.
