DESEO Pilates Studio was born from the tenacious passion of Davide Jelmini, an athlete and experienced therapist, who has long been committed to researching useful techniques to rebalance body and mind to achieve true well-being.

After eleven years spent in the field hockey world as a professional player, Davide Jelmini chose to devote himself completely to medical training (already undertaken at the same time as his field hockey career) and cultivated an interest in the meditative approach by studying and traveling the world.

At the age of 23, he left for northern Thailand, approached monks committed to recovering contact with the most authentic dimension of life, and initiated in-depth reflections on techniques of energy manipulation, inner control, and meditation.

Deeply connected to this inspiration, DESEO's founder attended master classes in the United States, Italy and Switzerland to enrich his experience and learn new skills in the therapeutic and postural fields. He worked for ten years in seven "Cirque du Soleil" shows as a therapist on the Italian and Swiss territory and was selected in the pool of therapists who accompanied the famous star Madonna on the "Sticky and Sweet World Tour" .

The culture of the body, matured already as an athlete since the age of 16, induces Davide Jelmini to pursue his project, choosing the heart of Lugano to offer highly qualified services to those who intend to face (and overcome) daily stress. The DESEO medical massage and postural exercise center pampers its clients by reserving special treatments and immersing them in an unconventional, relaxing and evocative atmosphere.

With the same intent, Davide Jelmini gives birth to the CLUB MOVE gym, where - together with his partner - he encloses a stimulating universe that makes exercise enjoyable and fun. Training and relaxation combine harmoniously in the spaces of this Lugano club, based on state-of-the-art technologies, alternative classes, personalized treatments and absolute autonomy of access.
