About me

Plagued by lumbago, my supervisor at the time signed me up with an acupuncturist. After just one acupuncture treatment, my back pain was almost gone. I was so impressed that I informed myself better about Traditional Chinese Medicine and shortly after that I started my TCM studies at Bio-Medica, TCM School in Zurich. Now a new professional stage has begun, where you definitely never stop learning throughout your life and which is full of variety. What more could you want?

Traditional Chinese Medicine - TCM

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a comprehensive and independent system of medicine developed in China over the last 2500 - 3000 years. In TCM, it is not the symptom, not the superficially diagnosable clinical picture that is treated, but the cause. If this is localized and treated, then Yin and Yang / Qi and blood come back into balance and the disease with all its manifestations recedes.

By questioning the patient, his external appearance, tongues and pulse diagnosis, the TCM therapist finds out the cause of the disease. Based on this information, he makes a diagnosis according to TCM and plans the treatment concept.

Health depends on the balance between the opposing forces of Yin and Yang and the free flow of Qi and Blood. As long as Yin and Yang remain in balance and Qi and Blood are flowing, body, mind and soul are healthy.

Nutritional and lifestyle habits are also relevant diagnosis and therapy aspects in TCM and can be individually incorporated into the treatment and taken into account.
