Med Therapy (Giubiasco)

Graduated in 2013 from the Scuola Superiore Medico in Lugano as a Medical Massage Therapist with Federal Professional Certificate. In March 2014 I started working as an independent Medical Massage Therapist at the Beauty Academy in Giubiasco. Since April 2016 I have been working, also as an independent, at Paola Taborelli's Endless Aesthetics in downtown Giubiasco. Therapies: Medical Massage -> can be applied to the whole body (neck, back, arms, legs and feet). Treatment depends on the pc's problems so it is adjusted as needed. Manual Lymphatic Drainage -> mainly used in case of water retention problems, but also often used in case of swelling due to trauma or in case of illness or pregnancy. Plantar Reflexology -> involves identifying at the level of the feet the reflex points of the whole body and possible problems. Pregnancy Massage -> combination of treatments adapted to the needs of the mother-to-be. Variables: manual lymphatic drainage, circulatory massage, back, shoulder and neck massage, reflexology. Newborn massage -> massage is done with oil or cream, depending on mom's choice. During the massage, the mother can learn how to best pamper her baby at home with a good massage.
